Can I cancel my BuyForMe order?

If we haven’t placed your order yet, you can cancel it from your BuyForMe Orders page.

Order already submitted? Email us right away and we’ll try to cancel it with the merchant.

Just keep in mind that cancellations depend on the store’s policy, and not all merchants allow them once an order is placed.

How do I make a Customs Order Declaration?

Accepted Answer

Customs regulations require that we declare the value of all packages shipped internationally from the U.S. The declared value must reflect what you paid for the items inside.

If you bought directly from the merchant:

If the merchant included an invoice, we’ll use that to declare your item’s value

If there’s no invoice, you’ll be asked to declare the value yourself during the shipping process in your account

If you used BuyForMe:

No action needed—we declare the value based on your order with us.

Accurate Declarations Are Required

Submitting an incorrect or undervalued declaration can result in serious consequences, including:

Package seizure by Customs

Fines or penalties

Criminal charges in some jurisdictions

To avoid delays, legal issues, or loss of goods, you must always declare the true purchase value of your items—even if they’re gifts, discounted, or secondhand.

Shipping to China? Read this first:

According to China Customs:

If your shipment contains multiple items, the total value must not exceed RMB2000

If it does, you’ll need to split the shipment (we can help—email or Live Chat us)

If you’re shipping one item, it can exceed RMB2000, but you must still pay all applicable taxes/duties

What if I’m not home to receive my delivery?

No worries. If you miss the delivery, your courier will leave a delivery notice with their local contact info.

Just call the number on the notice to reschedule delivery or arrange for pickup.

Do you have a package checking service? I want to check what’s in my package to ensure that the merchant delivered my items correctly and in good order.

Yes, we do provide package checking service upon request with a fee of US$5.00 and is fulfilled within 1-2 business days.

How do I use my U.S. address?

Accepted Answer

When making a purchase at a U.S. merchant website and prompted to fill in your Shipping Address, please ensure you enter your U.S. address correctly.

Your U.S. address is displayed in the top right corner of the website when you sign into your account.

Please be sure to include your Suite ID in your U.S. address. Your Suite ID is unique to your account and enables us to identify that your packages belong to your account when they arrive at our warehouse. Your Suite ID is included in your US address displayed under tab 1, prefixed by ‘c/o’.

Under the name field when filling in your shipping address, please also be sure to fill in the same name that you use for your comGateway account. We use both your Suite ID and your name to match your packages to your account.

Due to our large volume of packages and to enhance sorting and delivery performance, the United States Postal Service has provided us with our own ZIP code (97253). However, some online stores may not recognize this yet, so we encourage you to use the old ZIP code (97220); you may use 97253 but only if a store prevents you from using the other. Both zip codes are valid.

Additionally, some online stores require a ZIP+4 code. The first five digits indicate the destination post office or delivery area. Whereas, the last 4 digits represents a specific delivery route within that overall delivery area. If asked by the online store, please use the ZIP+4 code below:
