We insure your packages so that if they are lost or damaged, you can recover the cost of your packages in full. Insurance costs 0.65% of total charges when you pay comGateway.
'Total charges' include the item cost, U.S. domestic shipping charges, international shipping charges and any BuyForMe service fees (if applicable).
Coverage is up to US$10,000. The insurance will compensate based on:
- Total value of your goods declared, actual value or US$10,000, whichever is lower
- U.S. ground shipping charges
- International shipping charges from U.S. to your destination
The insurance excludes items that are part of a bulk shipment, agricultural products, temperature controlled or frozen foods, tiles, marbles, glass, IC chips, gems, jewelry, branded watches, money, monetary instruments, cigarette, liquor, wine, beer and the like, works of art, musical instruments and all hazardous goods.
